Our kennel is located in Gadsden, TN, just outside of Jackson.
We would love to add one part time position to our team.
In addition to getting to look at cute puppies, free puppy kisses and petting the sweetest dogs ever, this fun job also requires:
1) love of dogs and have an understanding of their behavior and general knowledge of all things canine medical 2) PREFERABLY be 25 or over for auto insurance purposes but will consider 16
based on the position applied for 3) be able to communicate via email, text (phone calls are for emergency situations only) and have (at the very minimum) basic computer skills.
4) Dependability is a must.
Organization and working in a timely manner are highly prized skills as well.
5) be available to work weekends 6) not be averse to scooping poop and scrubbing poopy crates in the transport trailer 7) Able to lift at least 50 pounds and able to work in extreme heat and cold.
The lucky person chosen for this job will report directly to the kennel manager and MUST be able to follow CPR's policies and protocols.
There are no exceptions to following rules and less than zero tolerance of any drama, gossip, disrespect, or jealousy.
We simply don't have the time for all that.
In addition to our love of dogs, CPR's mission is also one of love, tolerance, patience, and acceptance.
No mean people need to apply because you won't fit in.
Work hours have some flexibility but absenteeism isn't something we like dealing with so only the dependable need apply.
