1 Humboldt, TN Humboldt, TN $19 - $20 an hour $19 - $20 an hour FOUNDATION AUTOMOTIVE is seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team at Jones Chevrolet (Humboldt).
As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for performing all of the accounting areas responsibilities for the dealership.

Responsibilities:
General accounting duties Perform all accounting areas responsibilities, training will be provided.
Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval.
Prepares accounts payable checks.
Posts all open items in accounts payable daily.
Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files.
Reconciles cash schedule.
Communicates cash requirements for payable dates to the office manager.
Analyzes vendor accounts.
Answers all vendor inquiries.
Assists in monthly closings.
Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
Perform accounts receivable duties.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Experience in accounting, automotive experience is a plus.
Dealertrack and/or Reynolds & Reynolds Experience is a plus.
Exceptional organizational skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong attention to detail, data entry accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
